TrueField Scope Desk keeps optical planning on your iPhone or iPad—where the tubes, glass, and session cards already live.

Plain statement

TrueField Scope Desk does not collect personal data. Optics math, OTA shelves, eyepiece drawers, target overlays, and PDF field cards are computed and stored on-device only.

On-device processing

Magnification, true field of view, exit pupil, resolution references, Barlow/reducer chains, and dual-eyepiece comparisons run locally. Session field cards are generated with on-device PDF tooling and saved or shared only when you choose.

No third-party analytics or ads

The app does not embed third-party analytics SDKs, advertising networks, or tracking pixels. There is no account system and no remote profile of your observing gear.

What stays on your device

Custom optical tubes, eyepiece inventories, stacked trains, locked targets, and exported field cards remain under your control in app storage and the system share sheet / Files destinations you pick.
